Anyone see this on TV?
I thought it came over quite well. No doubt the "fluffy bunny" brigade will have something derogatory to say, but the biggest issue that came out of it I think was how the possible loss of an iconic native species can attract so little help that there is not even steady funding available for one single full time person! OK, I know some wildlife trusts have employed people in relation to the problem (the same people who never even reply when I've asked them about Reds/Greys in our local nature reserve - but don't get me started on that ! ) , but they only talk and give out leaflets ...... like handing out books on swimming whilst the Titanic was sinking!!
